Our last Christmas celebration was celebrated on Thursday night once Allison and Dan got home from spending Christmas with Dan's family in St Louis and Kansas City.
We had dinner at my parent's house this time after everyone got off of work. It was low-key. Just time to spend together, catch up and reminisce all of our Holiday experiences and blessings. The Lord has blessed us with so much and it is so nice to share about it.
I really did not take any pictures this night, but here are the few I did take.

We had fun being with Allison and Dan and hearing all about their Christmas. It is so hard and complicated and just plain stinks to have to separately celebrate Christmas, when all you want is to be with everyone you love all at once. I guess that is just part of growing up and family dynamics changing. I know that is just the way of life, so that is why I am most thankful for my little family God has given me. I know that no matter what, no matter where we are celebrating, I will always have them as my constant. Adam and Lyla. I love them more than anything and as long as I am celebrating with them, that is enough for me.
As Christmas comes to a close, it always makes me think about the future and the new year. I do not really do "New Year's Resolutions" but I do like to think and pray on what the new year should look like for me as a person, a wife, a mom, a daughter, sister and friend. Can't wait to see how our family grows and changes by next Christmas.
