Annual Pumpkin Patch Visit 2013!

We usually hike it all the way up to Burt's Pumpkin Patch in October. This year, however, we decided to change it up. We went to Kinsey Family Farm. Boy was it beautiful!! It was not as far as Burt's, not as crowded, had lots to see and do, and the pumpkin selection was pretty good. They definitely did not have has many pumpkins as Burt's, but the scenery was breath-taking and the weather was perfect!

We went with Dan and Allison and had so much fun enjoying the day with them!

She insisted on pulling the wagon with her pumpkins herself. She was very opinionated on which pumpkins we should pick!

The many faces of Lyla Gray...

We were not so successful on a family picture. We have hit the stage of hit or miss when it comes to taking a picture with Lyla.

She took her job seriously.

When I say it was a gorgeous day, I mean it was GORGEOUS. It was the perfect day to be outside and just enjoy. We literally just took.our.time. Uncle Dan decided to REALLY relax by taking a nap! Allison and I walked around several times trying to find where he went...this is where we found him...

She loves her Unk Dan.

This farm is also a Christmas Tree Farm. Very fitting since that is my favorite holiday. I think it would be SO incredibly fun to come up as a family and cut our own tree down!! I am not sure that Adam will allow another Christmas tree in the house though....

Looking out at all the baby Christmas trees.

Unk Dan (Lyla literally calls him this) and Aunt Ayson.

This describes how wonderful the day was perfectly...

Then we had to decide which pumpkins to get...

Lyla has a Cinderella birthday party coming up so it was the perfect opportunity to grab a few fun "Cinderella" pumpkins!

Lyla's choice.

And then a pumpkin dance.

Love these moments.

We grabbed a snack and headed to check out all the animals on the farm! It was fun to see the animals up close. Lyla had a great time petting and feeding them as well!

Cows.

Horses.

Sisters.

There were also goats, geese, miniature horses, and pigs.

Checking out the animals.

Our little family.

I love this tradition!
