Lyla is just a little bit Cinderella obsessed. So needless to say she wanted a Cinderella birthday party!
We hosted her friends at our house for a special day of princess treatment (or prince treatment for her boy friends!). We asked everyone to dress in their very best "royal attire" and they did not disappoint. We even had a surprise special guest!!
Honey and Pawpaw would not miss the celebration. Pawpaw reading to Cinderella, the story of Cinderella, while she waited patiently for her guests to arrive.
Accessories to help embellish the royal guests' attire.
Had to have some swards for the boys!
Cinderella's pumpkins and mice.
Clock set at midnight, her glass slipper and her bird friends.
A few treats.
The fruit is set up on top of one of our pumpkin finds from the pumpkin patch! The mini donuts are 'carriage wheels'.
The fairy godmother and her magic wands.
Can't forget the stepmother and Lucifer!
Cinderella and the Prince. The yummy cupcakes my mom made!
And of course her mice friends with their favorite snack....cheese!
The Birthday Princess! Ready to get this party started.
Mommy cannot believe her baby is turning THREE!

Everyone wanted their picture taken with Cinderella.
Singing Happy Birthday to the Birthday girl!
And yes, that is a chocolate sprinkle stuck on her face. Hey, it's her birthday!
Literally, would not let Cinderella leave her side...
Sad to say goodbye to Cinderella. Midnight struck and it was time for her to go. All the girls wanted to see her ride away in her carriage. Haha.
Goodbye Cinderella! Thanks for coming!
The girls watching her leave...
and running after her.
Gift time! We decided to wait to do gifts until after the party was over. Sometimes I feel it is too overwhelming to open them during the party. I always hated this when I went to parties growing up, so I think next year, we are going to do something more low-key, with fewer friends, and have a chance to let the kids see her open their presents. After all, it's exciting to see the birthday person open your gift!
Can we say Disney obsessed? She gets it honest.
This girl was DYING for a BLUE tape measure. Yes, she is her daddy's daughter. Girly to the core, but loves her some tools and helping him out in the garage. She loves to measure and one day asked for a blue (favorite color) tape measure. Both Adam and I looked for one every time we went to the store, but never found one. Well Nana found one for her and she was SO excited!!
Princess, Princess and more Princess!
This girl loves puzzles. She can sit and do them for hours. That and coloring.
Princess Candyland has become a fast favorite in our house. And this girl has the best luck!! She wins every time!
Lots of arts and crafts too which have been fun to pull out on rainy days.
Several books to add to our collection!
Honey made her a quiet book, which is absolutely precious.
She also made her a Cinderella apron for when she is helping mommy in the kitchen!
A bike helmet.
Princess playdough.
And the BEST surprise....
...a baby!! She is going to be a big sister!
She was a little overwhelmed finding out with the whole family there. But after everyone left and things died down, she was super pumped!
A new scooter from Mimi and Gramps.
to go with that new princess helmet.
Gramps and Mimi.
Uncle Fred and Nana with the birthday girl.
And a new Cinderella bike from Honey and Pawpaw.
Uncle Dan and Aunt Allison.
Pawpaw and Honey.
An intense game of Candyland got started right away!
We had so much fun celebrating Lyla and what a blessing she is in our lives and our family. Thank you to all our friends and family for making her feel so special and loved as she turned three!
And just so you know, we loved our Cinderella! Julia is awesome, so sweet with the kids and has an amazing voice. She is also Elsa and even has an Anna to go with her! If you have a princess who would love a surprise appearance of Cinderella or Elsa and Anna let me know and I will get you her information.
